It is for me. I'm a member and can't access the site, but they may be performing maintenance on the entire system which would force them to bring the site down for a while. They were updating some things across the site which they may be implementing right now.

Yes demonoid is down for a while now , although it is a very good tracker , but there are other very good and great private trackers that can offer you unbelievable speeds as well as huge content.

You need to gain invites to join these trackers , and one of the best places to gain invites to private trackers is www.torrentinvite.com .

I remember reading on the home page (demonoid.me) that they were planning on redesigning the site to make searching easier. Can anyone else confirm this? I don't remember anything about the site being down for a week. sigh.

Demonoid has had some hardware issues within the past year and had several "outages" or downtime. For anyone who has been an active member over the years knows how this goes and is standing by for updates. They posted a re-direct message on their demonoid.me site, stating they we're "...having HW issues...should be up soon"

As some have posted, you can always try other sites, I personally recommend just being patient and waiting for the quality vs abundance of crap on other sites.

They are not being sued or shut down at this time, despite what some people are saying.

yes demonoid.me is down im a member and have been for a while now and cannot gain access to my account its been the same since i tried yesterday if u want another gd semi private site try tntasylum its sign ups are open till 9th sept so get a move on it used to be twistedtorrents or if u can get an invite i recomend speed.cd

Yes the website is down. They have recently shut down the website for maintenance. It will either be a security check or they are updating features for the site. Currently unknown how long the update will last.

Demonoid is down alright. I just got a letter subpoena letter from Does-1.5000 from Voltage: Hurt Locker & The Expendables saying that I am being sued for sharing there films so if you have these 2 films, best bet is to delete them before your internet service provider gives them your full contact info because all they get at first is your isp, then your service provider will provide them with your full defendant name, address and phone number
