There are two different geographic regions called Galicia - one in Spain, another one in Eastern Europe.
The Spanish Galicia has its own language: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galician_language
The Eastern European Galicia is a home for several languages, including a Galician dialect of Ukrainian.
