That's a tough question and a good question.

Sr. has valid points, I personally don't like him or his personality, but to be objective I have to say Paulie is the biggest Diva based on the evidence and being objective.

Paul Jr is a pure Prima Donna - He is the Lead Female Singer in the OCC Opera. Think about it?

Paul Jr. is Seniors daughter, Senior is the lead Male so the lead Female goes to Junior, thus he is the Diva....

Junior is arrogant, he talks too much, he explains way too much, he likes to hear himself talk. He expects to be taken as an artist whether or not he deserves it or is granted that title through praise. He bases his status on those he selects praise from and refuses to accept criticism regardless if it is constructive or necessary.

    Nietzsche stated

"Every action toward another individual stems from a deep-down desire to bring that person under ones power in one way or another. Whether a person is giving gifts, claiming to be in love with someone, giving someone praise, or physically harming someone, the psychological motive is the same: to exert ones will over others."

So in that sense Senior wants to control Junior by putting him on this Senior Track based on his success and as he sees it. It's fatherly like in reality. He has principles and a system. He is convinced his way is the way. Regardless of how turned off you are by Senior? His motive is mostly honorable. A father exerting his will over the son. Classic power struggle. Typical. Not unusual at all.

Junior? His motive is to resist and seek his own path. That's honorable as well. But the Diva factor stems from Juniors ways. He resist for the sake of resisting only many times. He accepts praise and relishes in it. So truthfully? A glamor whore who maintains a false principle that he is seeking his own path makes him the Diva. Why?

    Nietzsche again:

"So long as you are praised think only that you are not yet on your own path but on that of another"

Junior revolves around praise given him, he relishes it as I said. He can't seem to understand how he lives for it and cries over the lack of it from his father. That's his true path. He lives for praise and not his false path he claims he is on. He claims to be an artist, a designer. Yet? what he seeks is not his art but praise. It doesn't get anymore Diva then that. He is being controlled by his Father by accepting his Father exist and allowing him to continue this. He can't see how he is being manipulated by Senior. He knows it but he is clueless to how and why and just keeps falling in the same old trap.

The battle for control exist over Junior and he is like a pig in slop with the attention and not his artful abilities. His artful ability is to gain praise and attention. His Father helps him perpetuate his need to be praised falsely. Senior is a master manipulator and Junior is stupid as heck in reality.

I like Mike and can see how damaging the results of one like Senior can be on a timid and insecure figure like Mike. Senior is a monster, therefore no Diva. Junior is not evil and the subject of an evil man, he is forced into this world by the doings of Senior.

How about this question? Who would you rather have as a father? Senior or Junior? (that's a rhetorical question, btw. Who would want a monster for a father anyway?)

Senior uses his sons and this whole platter of super dysfunction to keep this whole drama going, Junior just fits easily into helping Senior be the monster. It's sad in reality. It's abusive but since Junior relishes in it all? How do you fix it? Junior as the Diva makes it all work and to be a Diva there needs to be a monster because the whole thing is ancient story being relived on TV using choppers which is secondary and a subplot to the main plot.

Don't get any sense it's not real either, no one is laughing all the way to the bank. It's no act. There is a desperate monster who is laughing like an evil greedy on the way to the bank using his sons to make it possible though. Sick, Senior is deranged and he has deranged his children.

Paul Senior is the much bigger diva, and his company is going broke without Junior to do the design work. Hopefully, we won't have to hear about either of them again.
