A laptop(or a notebook) is usually more powerful and has a larger screen than the 2 others. It can be used for pretty much anything from simple web browsing to hardcore gaming/processing.
A netbook is less powerful than a laptop but more powerful than a chromebook. It is mainly used for web browing, listening to music, word/document processing and some games might run on it.(you know the games from the 90s and 2000s, like NFS Porsche) The new Nvidia Cuda netbooks though are quite powerful. They can play 1080p HD Videos and can game quite well but the screen size is quite a deal breaker.
A Chromebook is one which runs Chrome OS and is just made for web browsing and online word processing.(you know the new Live Office, and Gmail docs and stuff) Chromebooks are quite weak in horsepower
You get the idea ;)
Hope I helped

A laptop and a netbook differ only in size. Netbooks usually max out at 12"
A Chromebook tends to be small and runs the Chrome operating system which is designed to run web apps only. They should be fast and secure, but some say they aren't ready for prime time yet.

In brief:
• Though basically in the same category as other netbooks in the market, Google is trying desperately to differentiate its Chromebook from them saying it is a tablet with a keyboard.
• While most other netbooks in the market are Windows based devices, Chromebook runs on specially developed OS by Google.
• With the help of a new Living in the Cloud feature, users can access their data from anywhere from any other computer which is unique for Chromebooks and not available in any other netbook.
