Will Ryanair give me back any of my money? And if so how?

Well the situation remains that I want to cancel a flight as I cannot make it due to unforeseen circumstances but I want to get a refund of my ticket. What can I do to get my money back. I cant seem to find any options...

That isn't going to happen. Cheap tickets are generally non-refundable and Ryanair doesn't sell refundable tickets. That's what travel insurance is for. If you bought that and are not able to make the trip for reasons that are covered, then you could get some money back.

You can, however, change the flight to another date. You can also write within one month of the flight and request a refund of the portion of the ticket that covers government taxes, but that won't be much and you won't get anything else back. With Ryanair in particular, you can get cheap fares if you don't need any of the services that cost extra. Customer service is not something you can count on - particularly so if you're trying to get money back. lets just say it's a lot more complicated than that Ryanair sells a certain small amount of cheaper tickets, the earlier you book and pay for them, so inevitably they have your money in the bank earning interest The nearer to the flight time, the more expensive the flights are. You'll also find most people pay a different price for their flight depending on when they booked Also, like most airlines nowadays they make money from hold baggage, reserved seating, on board snacks and drinks, credit card bookings etc etc I've used Ryanair many times, and always travel hand luggage only although I do buy a coffee on board
