how can i change/customize avatar?

Go to My Activity. Edit My Preferences. Add photo or avatar. Then follow the prompts.

To get a cartoon avatar of yourself: http://avatars.yahoo.com/ Save it.

Then go back to My Activity. Edit My Preferences. Add photo or avatar and Change name. A box should pop up in it there should be your avatar that you save as well as the exclamation mark. Then click on the picture you want as your picture. Then click submit.

**Make sure you Pulse profile isn't hidden.

Go to http://pulse.yahoo.com/ Click on Settings. Privacy. Uncheck hide profile.

***You may not be able to get an avatar if you have Google Chrome or Opera.

Click "My Activity" at top of page

Select "Edit My Preferences"

Click "Update photo or avatar"

Follow instructions to select your photo/avatar

Click "Submit" on bottom of original page when done

To make a carton avatar:

Make sure your Pulse profile is not hidden.
