WOW, 20,000 messages! Aren't you popular:) You should check how much room you have on your HDD. If its low then you should probably delete some stuff. Its like how the more stuff you have on your pc the longer it takes to boot and is just overall slow. Hope this helps.

Delete your messages. It will probably take a few hours to delete 20,000 but it will make it quicker.

I think you should delete some or all of the messages if possible your a message hoarder
