is Dead Island worth the $60?

Its more of a filler game if you get what i mean, you're better off saving your money for skyrim or bf3, and to the guy who says l4d2 is way better he is wrong, l4d is a piece of **** franchise and the games are terrible, dead island is definitely worth renting, or wait till its a little cheaper.

Im getting it soon because im in love with zombie games , however its really up to you if its worth it or not i have friends that love it and play it non stop and i have friends that play it for like ten min a day just so they wouldnt be wasting their money. Its a lot like dead rising 2 without the story mode, however its better because i heard the missions were hard and you can have up to 4 people playing the mission with you if you need help. i agree with the person that said left 4 dead 2 was better because its a story mode and its not constant running. But dead island is good because unlike left 4 dead you can free roam and use your imagination on how to kill the zombies and dont get me wrong i love me some left 4 dead 2 but you cant do that on there. so really its up to you if you dont want to buy it then wait till you can rent it and just do that and see what you think.

Heck no I just watched most of the campahn. On YouTube and it's a bunch of running back and forth and it ends really gay. It looked good on the trailer but it's gay left for dead 2 was 100 times better truly watch it on YouTube to see if you like how it is put in (dead island campaghn pt. 1-30 pick a part ends at game ends at thirty not worth it

If you are thinking of buying it now, don't. Right now it's full of bugs and it's quite annoying (especially the PC version). But it's really quite a solid zombie game. Watch a walkthrough of it on Youtube to make up your mind.

you should watch some reviews but from what I've seen I'd say no. It just seems boring and has a lot of bugs (some are patched but some are still there). I would say save your money and get something you know is good (like Arkham City).
