Has anyone purchased a guitar from www.thecheapestguitar.com?
Did you have a good experience? Would you recommend them?
I've read they are in Korea, but their website doesn't say, so I don't know if it's true or not. Obviously, you usually get what you pay for, but I honestly don't fully understand what they're even selling. It looks like they make the guitars in their shop, but all the pictures have name brands on the head-stocks (Gibson, Fender, Rickenbacker, etc.). I'm in the market for a good Les Paul knock-off. I've been looking at the ESP LTD EC series and the Edwards guitars (I like the action on the LTD guitars, and they do have some with thicker bodies and passive pickups).
Just wondering what kind of experience folks have had with this company and if they got a good product.
I already own a Gibson SG ('89), a Fender American Strat ('99) and a Gibson Les Paul Standard ('04). This isn't about getting a Chinese copy of an American instrument. My 10-year old wants to learn to play and I wanted to get him an inexpensive starter that will look good and play well enough to learn on.
