best supernatural episodes season 1 to 6?

That's like asking which of my children do I love the most - impossible to pick just one!

Tops:

"Very Supernatural Christmas" - it's a combination of everything I love about supernatural. Everything from the "Special" spinning in the beginning (which I remember from my childhood and Christmas specials) to the ending with them exchanging gas station presents is spot on. There's a grisly humor with the Santa scenes in the beginning and I love the idea of a Christmas tree being used to kill pgan gods. Even the pagan gods were a brillian juxtaposition with them assulating themselves into society. And the very touching scene where Sam explains why he doesn't want to celebrate Christmas which makes the ending so much more emotional. Love it!

"Devil's Trap" - Loved the portrayl of the family dynamics. I felt I really began to understand these characters here - especially with the cabin scene. And the ending nearly killed me when I first saw it! What a cliff hanger - I think I hated Kripke for doing that to me at the end and anything that makes me feel that strong of an emotion is good.

"In My Time of Dying" - because I was dying to find out what happened and this episode was more than I expected. The touches of humor ("Dude, I full-on Swazyed that mother! " and the "I feel like I'm at a slumber party") were just right. And the ending, John's sacrifice was just what the show needed to propel it into season 2.

"Lazarus Rising" - loved how Castiel was introduced. "Holy tax accountant?" made me laugh. But I loved seeing everyone's reaction to Dean coming back.

"Changling Channels" had me rolling on the floor laughing. The paradies of other TV shows was spot on and I loved the reference to Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing a ghost on Gray's Anatomy.

How can I just pick one?!

Season 3: Jus In Bello(so sad :'0)

Season 4: Lucifer Rising(it was such a good way to finish the season)

Season 5: Changing Channels(the second best episode ever!"NUTCRACKER!!!!)

Season 6: Frontierland(it is so funny)
