What makes Of Mice and Men a lasting story?
I was wondering what makes the book by John Steinbeck, so enduring. Perhaps I coudln't fully appreciate the book when I was younger but, I just want to know why the book is so lasting, that it will prbably continue to survive for a long time.

Personally I think its the bond between the two men, the levels of faith that they have in each other shows through and the feel good factor in there too. Some youngsters do understand though some care not to understand until older when real life kicks in and they are automatically drawn back to the story.
