What programs do I need to keep on my computer?
I have a aspire computer and its a windows vista home premium. I need to know what programs I need to keep and what I can get rid of. I dont have much space left on my c drive and all of my I tunes are on a external hard drive Do I need all the stuff that aspire has installed please help thanks

try a full restore if your computer came with a restore disk use it and it will get rid of any unnecessary files

Be VERY careful. There are thousands of programs you will need to keep just to make Windows run. And programs take up very little space, so you probably really need a bigger drive.

Do this.
Create new user. Make it admin. Don't transfer files (If it says that (If) ) sign into new User. Delete old user (Do not keep files) You computer should be wiped of all that. Easy way to clean up house and re-download the only programs you actually need.

It would probably be better to buy another external hard drive, and only keep your required system files on the internal laptop hard-drive.
