Should 13 yr olds collect LEGO?
I am a 13 yr old and i LOVE legos , but i get made fun of and picked on at church for it. I dont play with them , i collect them and build stuff like vaults and candy machines. I also make stop motion videos with them (http://godtube.com/tobmacboy) but they say rude things like "you need to quit stayn up all night playn with legos" and stuff like "you need to quit hoppn legos" and other rude and stupid things. Should I feel childish or are there other kids my age that collect legos?

Im 15 and Ive been playing with Lego most of my life, however, I actually rarely play anymore which is a mix of more work, as well as more time hanging with friends and whatnot, however, I see tons of teens and even adults playing and designing Legos all the time

The answer is simple, but hard to do. Do what you like. There shouldn't be another person telling you what you can or can't do. If you love collecting stuff, then go for it. There are people that are over 50 and whatnot and some of them collect legos still. It's a hobby lifestyle. If your friends can't handle that you have a hobby, then they probably aren't great friends or have never heard what a hobby is. Just stand up for yourself and teach them something.

No do it! My fiance and I started collecting legos again over the last year and it's so much fun! I've tried collecting a few things in life but this is by far my favorite.
Oh, by the way, we are 19 and 22. So if it's childish for you to do it, it's simply infantile for us and I don't think that's true at all XD

Dude. keep collecting legos! hell im a 14 year old chick who "plays' with legos! you shouldnt care what anyone says. as long you're having fun theyre just being assholes. nuff said. (( if you dont like swearing i apologize ))

Why do you have to tell people if you are getting a negative reaction? Just keep on "playing" with your lego and keep it to yourself.

tell em to go shuf it up their *** (sorry) i LOVE lego i put it on my list for christmas every yr i love it i am 14 and i dont tell anyone but i do know one of my mates watchs teley tubbies ikr dorky soooooo go plaay god and do what ever you waant with ur lovly lego as long as i can come a long to i will bring my two big tubs of lego

do what you want....but in high school, be ready to have no friends if you still play with legos.
