WTF is going on here? You ask me a question and I get flagged!?

They person asked how to price a VW Golf and I replied, "This is what I use to price a car. www.kbb.com"

I get flagged for abuse and denied my appeal! This is a real car site! WTF is going on around here. Someone tell me why the YA Answers abuse team is now abusing nice people like me for answering a question in a professional manner? Shouldn't the abuse team getting flagged for abuse?

Update:

They gave no year, no engine, no other clues to what they wanted priced so I gave them the best answer I could. I answered this same way 50 times in the last 2 years without problems to anyone with a general pricing question? No one was willing to answer for 2 hours, so out of the kindness of my heart I helped them out? AND GOT SCREWED!

Trollers get on here and flag everyone for abuse all the time. The yahoo answer team doesn't understand what the trollers are doing and good people like you are slipping through the cracks. I would send an appeal and send them the website link to prove it's really a good site. Troller started doing that to me right after the top contributor showed up under my name. I get flagged at least once a day now and all I can do is send them an appeal and wait for an answer. Bad things happen to good people!

What most likely happened is that you provided a link, not an answer. If you are going to provide a link, answer the question if you can... then provide link is to back up your answer. You can't answer with just a link. It's a minor violation. I wouldn't worry about it. Now you know. That's how most of use learned... from getting the violations. It's not that they thought the site/link wasn't related to the question.

You didn't really answer the question directly by

just posting that link, that is something many would

    report for spam...

I think it's because you should have used the 'What's your source?' box to post your link, instead of putting it into the body of your answer.

It's picky, I know, but they're like that.

I saw a KBB commercial on tv, so I agree it's a real site. They do that to me too, they are haters!
