What is the generic name of the well known salve that golfers use to relieve their frustrations and (more)?

It is not taken by mouth it is a salve meant to be applied to the excretory opening of the alimentary canal. The salve supposedly relieves the symptoms of frustrations and verbal abuse and also the symptoms of the humiliation suffered from loosing. This particular salve has a rather unscientific yet very descriptive sounding name.
losing - loosing who gives a hoot (may be spelled whoot). In some one`s haste to point out a minor spelling error that was very close to being spelled correct they forgot to answer the question. Oh, if I just had some of that salve right now to relieve the symptoms of the verbal abuse I have suffered over my spelling error.

You're talking about applying salve to the anus... I don't like where this is going.
By the way, it's not "a loosing golf match"- it's "a LOSING golf match" (emphasis mine). For someone that is trying to sound incredibly smart and witty, you screwed up a pretty rudimentary word.

I unfortunately see a lot of "loosing" when the person means "losing". Do the British spell this differently?
