Does Avast! remove viruses by itself, or do you have to remove it manually?

I have Avast set on "Ask me"...what to do when it detects a virus....that way it gives me the option to send to virus vault...or do nothing if it's a trusted program.......Once you tweak the settings you'll find out it's very good and it will protect the computer.......

If you scan your computer with avast!, and it finds some viruses, once it is done scanning, it will show you a list of the suspected files. You can choose from a slew of options, including deleting the suspected file, or just nothing. I believe, you can also set a default option for avast! to choose automatically, but I don't know for sure if it still has you look at the list of files, or if it just won't bother you any more.
Also, avast! helps in the prevention of viruses ever reaching your computer in the first place, which, of course, is always the best option of them all.

Avast does remove viruses by itself, you may need to take actions though, depending on the option that you choose.

yes Avast removes viruses by itself and also sometimes it pops up a box to ask you to manually select to move the virus to chest

You have to scan your computer manually with Avast if you want it to find and remove viruses. I do believe you can do automated scans too. Avast also prevents viruses from infecting your computer after it is active.

Anti viruses are nothing but a list of viruses which u need to keep on updating .
In simple language a list for the Extensions which it has to Allow Or Remove.
The Extensions which doesn't harm your Pc is Allowed and which may harm are Removed or Deleted.
Avast is a very good antivirus software so keep on updating and keep on killing viruses

once you set it to automatic it will automatically remove the viruses. But if you are really concerned with the security of your computer you should use quick heal. There is no matter to worry once you install it.

Hey:
Have your computer run a diagnostic check or ask your security whether norton or anything else to run it for you. And all computers get viruses by downloading things without checking them or installing things without checking them. Thus, it is better for you to be careful when try to download or install things from web.
Happy every day!
