Jumper Classic may just be the company that is sponsoring the horse show or hosting it. However, during the speed derby there should be jumping. The speed derbies I have attending normally have jumping involved. Look up Hickstead Speed Derby. Should give you a feel for what it will be like. It's a fantastic event to watch and very exciting.
You do not have to dress up for a horse show, unless you want to. Normally I dress casual unless I am riding, that's when I wear my riding attire. I wear a pair of jeans and a nice blouse for shows.

Grand Prix's are jumping competitions... so yes you will see jumping (very high jumpers). its really fun to watch and if you love horses you will enjoy it.. you should wear just jeans and a nice shirt.. its horseback riding so most people are going to being in riding attire if it a a show... when there is a Grand Prix at a show that im showing in my whole barn goes and we eat dinner and watch! and a Grand Prix is the horse and rider go through a course as fast as they can without pulling any poles down or refusing to jump... once everyone goes once then the top 5-10 (depending on the show) have a jump off! you will like it !! <3

The "speed derby" sounds like some sort of jumper competition to me. Regardless, if it's a jumper show, there should be jumping classes the whole time. They might only advertise a few of them bigger ones (or the ones with the biggest payouts) but there are probably classes of some level all day every day.
Wear whatever you want.

I think the "speed derby" is probably jumping. It's not the biggest competition of the weekend, but will still be fun to watch. Going casual should be fine.
P.S. I think mixing horses and sky diving sounds like a horrible idea!
