Help with Hott Notes 4?

My mom has Help with Hott Notes 4. It puts an icon in the part of the task bar that has stuff like volume control and the eject flash drive dialogue box. Right clicking on the icon brings up a menu with the option to create a new note among other things. Some times that icon isn't there. What should she do to make it stay?

    Windows 7 and Windows Vista have sticky notes built in. Use those. If you don't have a computer with vista or 7 on it, it is time to buy one.
