my current rate is QM i was wondering can i also learn the rate HM while being a QM so i can be eligible to join a fleet marine duty? or must i wait 2 years in so i can change my rate?
help and give all the information you can please - i really wanna help marines in combat and wanna join the feild myself.
( i got denied from the marines 2 years back because of a tattoo i had that was too close to my hand. )

Well, neither HM nor QM is a "rate" but a "rating".
You can not become an HM unless you attend HM "A" school.

one you can only hold one primary Rating.
2, HM is way overmanned. the chances of being allowed to cross rate into it is about zilch.
