Why doesn't any of the major video game site will not publish a story on "Dead Island's" broken patch on Ps3?

No Playstation 3 owner of "Dead Island" has been able to play multiplayer since the "Day One" patch on September 10th 2011. Our save are also compromised if we are logged in to PSN if we want to play. Why hasn't IGN, Gamespot, or G4TV published anything about this problem. It should be a hot button issue. Is there no response from Deep Silver one of the publishers from the game when the problem will be solved. How can these web sites have nothing to address this issue? The only people who are talking about this are only on message boards.

Brand new awesome game with that much hype fails completely on launch after boasting so much about their co-op..... no major corp is gonna report it when it's so obvious and might (POSSIBLY) be fixed soon. If it's not done in a week or so from now there's a good chance it'll pop up all over the place but it really does sound like they've got a lot of supporters out there hoping they'll get their **** together.

The thing is they put in a Copy Right Protection bit and took away the manual save function to keep people from trying to hack the game first thing to unlock all the trophies and items at level 1. which i hear would have been a cake walk without the "protection". The issue in the programming though made it screw up the auto save so now you can't even save multiplayer data and it just reloads the last known, main story line data from BEFORE you added the multiplayer option into it.
The issue with that is even now, I've turned off the multiplayer option (after losing level 40-46, 8 hours of play, and the last 25% of the main story line) and I'm STILL getting the "so-and-so is nearby" message allowing me to join other gamers. I tried this once, like an idiot, and it removed the quest givers all together so I had to restart to be able to turn in anything, setting me back a good 30 minutes.

They must have gotten rushed to get this out before Christmas. This game is full of glitches and typical problems for any game. Fix the save issue and it would me awesome. And I'm willing to bet a canidate for game of the year is why a lot of the major sites are holding off on bashing it. They don't want to tear into them now incase they fix it and it makes them look like asses.

I have seen alot of people mad about the game having so many problems, i think its just a waiting game right now for another update or another patch to fix all problems.

sorry.. i dont know, prob beucause the company bought there silence.  im just glad i avoided getting this game at the last minute
