A bag contains the following marbles: 7 black, 10 blue, 2 red, and 1 yellow. What is the probability of selecting a black marble and then a blue marble if the marbles are replaced?

Because there are 20 marbles altogether, the answer is:

    7/20 * 10/20= 0.35 which equals 35%

Draw a tree diagram to help yourself, much easier that way.

What is the probability of choosing blue or black marble if the marbles are put back in the bag after you have chosen one or the other color marble.

Eh... neither... however I bet I'll prefer English. I used to love English extra however prime university made it uninteresting. -_- But I nonetheless love writing as a passion (and hate math, although I'm now not dangerous at it) so I'll simply say English.
