Sign Up to be an Avon Representative

With today's economy, more and more people are looking for ways to make extra money or to simply work for themselves. Many cosmentic companies offer direct sales opportunities, such as Avon, Mary Kay and Jafra. There is typically a fee associated with signing up with a company, and Avon has one of the lowest sign up fees for new representatives. If you want to become an Avon Representive, there are several ways to accomplish this.

Get familar with the product. Before signing up with any company, get to know the product and see if you even like it. Unless you are a skilled sales person, selling something you don't love will be a difficult job. If you really like the product, your job will be much easier. But, if you prefer using Mary Kay or Jafra products, you should consider becoming a representative with one of those companies, even if their sign up fee may be higher.

Contact your local Avon Sales Representative. Although you can sign up online, it is to your advantage to sign up through your local sales representative. When I initially signed up, I did it online. It cost me a little more money, than if I had signed up with a local rep. I also missed the opportunity of having someone local to help me. While the district manager will still help you, being directly under a local agent will give you additional support.

Contact the Avon District Manager for your area, if your representative isn't in the position to help you. The rep should be able to help you contact the District Manager.

Go online to the Avon website to find your local agent, if you don't know who it is. Link is included in Resources. Once on the Avon website, you can search for a local agent using your zip code.

Signup online. If you don't want to follow steps 1 - 4, then signup online. The link for the sign up page is included in Resources.
