Is a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix a safe car?

I was recently in a bad accident and totaled my car. Eventually i'll be looking to get a new one, and I found someone selling a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix. I'm wondering if this is a good car, and also if it's a safe car if I were to get into an accident with it, how safe would I be?

Sense your buying used start looking for a BMW Volvo, or a Benz for that point of being Safe. These selections have a bit better crash test results with Volvo being in the top listed for safety. These cars may seem like there a bit more $ but you get what you pay for too. Your priceless.

Not particularly renowned for its safety. Then again not denounced as unsafe either. Sorry but there are no guarantees nor possible prediction in how safe you'll be in an accident. Carry on. You are looking for an assurance that cannot be determined.

It's as safe as most other ~10 year old cars. And yes if it was cared for then it will treat you well for at least a few more years.

A car only does as it's told by the driver so maybe we need some lessons?
