System Recovery XP service pack 2?
I have a laptop with Windows Xp Service Pack 2 on it. I would like to do a complete system restore leaving nothing but the OS system left on it. I do not wish to have any third-party software that comes with the computer, such as Microsoft Word. And I do not care to back-up my programs. Just a complete wipe of everything. Can I do this by the computer? I have tried using "F1" and "F10" while my computer is booting up. But since I have the old version of xp, neither of these work. Must I have the OS on an iso type CD? Or can I just do it straight from my computer?

This is not a system restore unless you reinstalled Windows recently.
Use the Windows CD you must have to reinstall Windows. When it asks how, format the drive.
