What does this fortune cookie i got mean?

Ok so i got this in my fortune cookie at this Chinese buffet does anyone know what it means?

"Fish and visitors smell in three days"

I think it has to do with I am very interested in them and have been trying to become one and then one night out of the blue i got this.

BTW if you aren't going to say anything nice don't even comment i don't even want to here from you people if all you are going to put is mermaids aren't real, ok!

    it means u dont want visitors for longer then 3 days otherwise it "stinks" having them around

    sounds like it's saying visitors get old after 3 days, like they are over staying their visit
