weather delays in college football...?

Does anybody know how many fans and/or players, say for the last 100+ years or so, have been struck by lightening while either watching or playing the game?

I'd even wager that a liberal came up with this "super" idea, what say you?

Update:

Jack Danger, good grief man more people have won the lottery than have been struck by lightening whilst playing or watching the game....it's definitely the "wimpification" of America football!!

Update 2:

It's just another step in the wimpification of American sports. I'd get a charge out of watching a game played in a lightning storm...

What does being a liberal have to do with it? What is the point of needlessly having players and the audience at risk during an electrical storm? It's just dumb. It's not necessary. Don't do it.
