Is it right to hope that someones pregnancy doesnt continue?
I know someone that cant cope with her 1 intellectually disabled child (aged 5) and 2 yr old that is showing all the signs of following in his older brothers foot steps.
She has again gotton pregnant as they feel contraception is against their religion (they dont go to church, children havent been christened, say they are catholic).
They are both on welfare as hubby is on disability pension and she is career for older boy and has filled in paper work to get careers pension for 2 yr old
She isnt doing the therapy for her kids that will allow them to be active members of society
Also do you think its fair that someone like this can just have kids in the first place?
@ Lori she doesnt look after her kids!!! Sits em in front of the TV. locks em in the lounge room and sits outside all day smoking.
She cant wait till the oldest starts school cause its free day care!!! (at least he will get the therapy he need there)
Both parents are are obese and drink. She smokes and both are on a cocktail of prescription drugs (hubby goes to 3 different docs and doesnt not tell each doc what the other has put him on).
Neither will go to local doctor doctor as he has told them they both need to lose weight

I'm kinda with you on this one. Most people who don't believe in birth control feel that you should only have the amount of children you can take care of mentally, physically and financially.

You don't have to have your kids christened or go to church to prove that you are religious. But I don't think they should be doing what they are doing. Have you told child welfare about this matter. Because they are probably the only ones that can help. The children have the right to the therapy they need and if she isn't giving it to them then she can be in a lot of trouble. And also having read this, I now agree with you, I hope the pregnancy fails because that might just give her a wake up call that she needs. I hope the kids end up with the care they need. I personally don't thin there is anything wrong with having your own thoughts by the way.

I think it's wrong to wish anyone's pregnancy doesn't work out. She must be a strong woman to cope with caring for her children, you should be caring not wishing bad things come her way I think she has enough to deal with. Unless she's using drugs and drinking throughout these pregnancies I can't see why your saying is it fair " someone like this " can have kids

It is sad that someone like this can have children while there are "good" people who can't. It is sad that this woman will not do good by her kids, and then brings another helpless child into the world. Its sad it really is, around my area we have people that have "litters" of kids like puppies and collect welfare and food stamps and arnt married and have 10 different baby daddy's. Its sad, but I don't get upset about it because there is nothing I can do about it.

I thought I suffered a miscarriage at about 8 weeks and I would not wish that kind of pain on anyone ever. It's horrific. I literally felt dead. I don't think people like that are fit to have children, especially not intellectually disabled children who need special care, however I still wouldn't wish a miscarriage on that woman.
I think she should have her tubes tied or something, but I still wouldn't wish it on her. I don't think she should be able to have children though.

it doesnt sound nice but you cant say anything because its nothing really to do with anyone else.. theres some awful people but were powerless and if another baby is what they want another baby is what they get please dont wish on a misscarradge because thats lowering yourself and its awful to think such a thing.. because its not the babys fault.
