You met a former student on a dating site...now what?

I took a class a couple semesters ago but i dropped it because i was sick. Then two semesters later (now) i joined a dating site and i met a nice guy. But then i realized he was my old instructor! But i still like him. But he doesnt seem to remember me, and if he does, he isnt saying it. Should i mention it to him? If you are a teacher, what would you do in my situation?

(i'm 23 he is 35)

    You're both of age. If things go well you can tell him eventually but don't rush. I assume he's seen a photo on the site even if you haven't met face to face yet. If he didn't recognize you, then he doesn't remember. I hope things work out well!

    You should bring it up with him. At the end of the day he is no longer your teacher so there are no rules against dating. It might be better to be up front and tell him in case he ends up remembering at some point and freaks out. If you two get on well it shouldn't be a problem.
