Dale Farm Eviction - Homes in Ireland?

The scrapyard land was bought 10 years ago. Media says a lot of the Residents are on benefits, so where did the money come from to buy the land? If it can be proved they own homes in Limerick, they will not be homeless, so they can "travel" there.

I wish people would stop calling this eviction "racist" and comparing it to Hitler. It's not racist and calling it racist just makes the word lose it's value even more than it has already been devalued by left-wing socialist idiots.

These people, who are not travellers, do not belong to any ethnic minority group. They are white British and Irish. They are criminals who have broken the law and should be treated as such. The residents who live near Dale-Farm have complained and spoke about the "travellers" criminal behaviour.

I have heard that a lot of rich champagne drinking socialists such as Vanessa Redgraves and Gloria Hunningford have supported these criminals. I do however doubt that they would be showing there support if they had to live near this "travellers" camp.

They're there illegally, they shouldn't be there, so they need to go. It shouldn't be one rule for them and another for everyone else. What about all those people who have had planning permission rejected in the past? I struggle to sympathize, to be honest the whole thing just sums them up. they just take what they want, think they can do what they want and I'm sick of these do-gooders pushing this ridiculous human rights rubbish. It somehow doesn't apply to the hardworking citizens of this country who go to work everyday and pay their way.

Sort of like the opposite way around to lots of people here who may live in a house in UK and own a caravan somewhere for the holidays!

OK, if they have to go , they have to go

They do have homes in ireland but prefer to live in england on benefits in illegally built properties.

As for the claim it us ethnic cleansing.....silly. They are not gypsies so there is no connection with the holocaust.

Ireland doesn't put up with them....England tolerates all kinds of abuses if the benefits system and the laws English people are expected to live by if the abuser can claim minority' status.

I read somewhere they were 'freedom fighters'.......ridiculous. They are only being expected to obey the same rules as English builders.....
