How to get started in Chemistry?
I tend to be a jack of all trades who missed out on alot of education growing up. Now that I am into my older years and shed my belief in the great spaghetti monster behind the moon I have gained a desire to learn more about chemistry and its affects*(lack of a better word). Would like to get some reference on begginer materials and references on where to start learning.

Start with the mole concept.. Basic of Chemistry..
Then start with periodic table.. Atomic number, mass number and everything related to it... Slowly learn about bonds, types of bonds formed between compounds and molecules and whatever..
I hope you know these basic things (Compounds, mixtures, molecules, elements), I mean their basic meaning... Then slowly you'll find it interesting and there you go. :) Enjoy!
