Atheists what are your opinions on Geert Wilders' Short documentary Fitna?

I'm not an atheist but dam atheist's can be so rude talking without knowledge about a documentary a islamaphobe made! And you most likely haven't even read the Quran....

I adore Geert Wilders. He has been unfairly treated by the press and others who want to think that Islam is a religion of peace. Nothing could be further from the truth. Geert himself is an atheist so those who might think that the Anti-jihad movement is some right wing Christian agenda might find more cred in him. Most atheists that I know think all religion is rediculous and the cause of evil. But Islam is the grand daddy of all in terms of an evil ideology that has held it's followers in the dark ages for 14 centuries. Wilders is trying to wake Europe up. While we don't need a 15 minute film to let us know how bad Islam is, many in Europe must because they are bending over backwards to give Muslims more consideration than their own people. Wilders simply couldn't take it any more and spoke up. He is a brave man and a hero.

You have to understand the only way our Aethist organizations in this country will survive is with Islam. Once the christians are out of the way we pledge our allegiance to islam, which is a vitual religeon.A vote for Obama will secure islam in america and do away with people visiting like Gert Wilders. first get rid of those nasty Christians then We will all be home free to live as free as we want We also have the backing for islam from the aclu and others. I don't know why you find it surprising. He's not politically correct, but he correct. It's his RESPONSIBILITY to tell the truth about the West's dangerous enemy. All politicians should, but they don't. He does. And, telling the truth is considered "strange" these days, though it shouldn't be.

Islam isn't just a religion. It's not like other religions. Islam is a political system, too. Islam is really about the implementation of the Koran (and Hadiths) which is everything Mohammad did or said to do. Everything he did or said to do is considered permissible and GOOD in Islam. And, he MANDATED all Muslims do jihad until the entire world is under Islamic rule, or sharia law. This isn't a suggestion. this is a MANDATE to all Muslims. They are REQUIRED to support jihad either by doing it themselves, by the sword, or by supporting it financially or through propaganda or other means.

What kind of politician tells the truth about Islam? None. But, don't we WANT to know the truth? Just an aside, here, but most atheists I know like to compare all religions and call out the dangers of ALL religions. I can't stand that. Christianity doesn't call for our deaths, no matter where they think we will go when we die. But, Muslims not only think we will go to hell, they want to put us there themselves and get a ticket to paradise (yep) when they do.

I know many of us know nice Muslims but this isn't about your friend in the office or up the street. Islam isn't about him. Islam is about Mohammad and that's where you should learn about it. Mohammad was a murder, rapist, beheader, pedophile, misogynist, warmonger and those who do jihad are following in the footsteps of Mohammad.

For those who automatically try to make the christian comparison, Jesus was peaceful, tolerant, and loved his enemies. Anyone who follows in the footsteps of him is the same way. Violence in the name of Christianity was a MISAPPLICATION of theology. Violence in the name of Islam is following Mohammad's mandates. Jesus forgave his enemies while MOhammad tortured and murdered his.

They want us converted or dead and are doing what they can to make that happen. Telling the truth is necessary. Some of you might hate all religions and that's perfectly fine, but they aren't all your enemies. Only Islam is your avowed enemy and teaches that Allah hates you and WANTS you dead.

I have read roughly 3/4 of the Koran, but that is entirely besides the point.

Islam is demonstrably bad. Look at it's history, and present.

To be honest, I haven't watched it and I really don't have any interest in doing so. I find the subject boring.

We know that already. I don't need a documentary to let me know.

I wonder how long this would take to get mass-reported in Ramadan?
