Is this likely to be penile cancer?

Details of me: I am 13 years old and am circumcised, but not recently. Was done when I was a newborn. I masturbate every week (please don't be grossed out.) My penis is 5 inches long when erect, 3 when it is.

Details of possible "tumor:" "Tumor" is on the inside of the penis, on the left side, about in the middle(lengthwise). "Tumor" is estimated to be about a square inch. Makes a slight bulge, not noticeable by an untrained eye. I notice it because, well, I see it every day. Definitely not a part of the actually penis, it's inside, though. It doesn't hurt when I squeeze it.

I'm scared, but if you need more details, just leave a comment before you answer. I'm not asking you to diagnose me, I'm just asking if it's possible I have penile cancer. Thanks!

Update:

It is the same color as my skin.

Unlikely. Penile cancer is a disease of old men, and very, very rare - rarer than male breast cancer. Nevertheless, you should always get any suspicious lumps and bumps checked out, for your peace of mind if nothing else.

If it's always been there, it may be scar tissue from your circumcisions. All circumcisions cause damage, but some more than others.

What is wrong with the world and our educational system when kids think they have a rare adult cancer?

We have less than 1,300 cases of penile cancer every year with the average age of onset at 60 years of age. Usually the ulcerated, foul smelling sore is a dead give away.

    Source(s): I am a cancer registrar.

You left out "color"... it may be a mole, or just a bump... If you are scared about it though, get a doctor to take a look and if they think it is, then they'll biopsy to confirm. Highly unlikely though.

13 year olds should not be in the Yahoo cancer forum. Listen to Denise!
