What are the most lightweight horse riding helmets?
Due to a neck condition, I need to find a lighter option for my helmet. Currently I use a Troxel Legacy. For some reason I cannot find a site that compares helmet weight...do you know what brands/models tend to be lighter?

Ugh - been there. My Tippeary Sportage is the heaviest helmet I have,and I only use it when I need to, although I do like it otherwise. The IRH Elite is my favorite - the newer version is lighter than the older - http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp?pn=X1-366...
The ventilation takes out of a lot of foam that makes it much more light-weight than you would expect in a full-shaped helmet. I love that it covers the lower portion of the back of my head (as opposed to the Troxels) and I rarely find myself with a raging headache. The Legacy is the lightest I have, but the weight being based primarily on the top of my head than around it seems to cause more problems for me.
I would go to your local tack shop and try a bunch on. I highly recommend the Elite. I'm on my 3rd, post injury (I replace them yearly regardless).

I know that the Tipperary Sportage helmets are quite light.
(It says "exceptionally light" in the specifications area lol.)
