How old is Satan and his kingdom?
The question is of Hell, when it was created by God and what happened to early biblical figures after death.
it is said that Satan/The Devil was a Cherubim/Angel that challenged God, he lost the war and was cast out to live in Hell. That being the case, when did the War in Heaven take place? the War in revelations is yet to happen so it can't be that war - if it is that war then Satan doesn't exist yet, only in prophecy yet he supposedly tormented Jesus in the Garden. If it was a prior war in Heaven, it is often said that the motivation for the war was/is that that Angel that became Satan (I shan't say Lucifer because as far as I can tell that's someone else) was Jealous of mankind's ability to exercise free will and that God had created Angels only to serve.
This would mean that there we Humans that had lived and died before the existence of Satan, which creates some interesting questions:-
Did Hell exist before Satan or was it created to be his domain simultaneously with the Angel's downfall?
If there was no Hell before Satan, Where did the obviously sinful souls of Adam, Eve and Cain (to name but a few sinners) go if there was no Hell to go to?
Please help.
Quick follow up question.
If Angels have no free will, how was did a war on God come about? The third of the Angels that fought on Satan's side (and Satan himself) would have had no choice but to obey and serve God.

Speaking of Satan, there are some sixty-six books in the bible, which were written by dozens of different writers of varying levels of brilliance. Yet, in none of those books are the possible repentance and salvation of Satan even remotely cited. Why not? As God, being all powerful and the one who created Satan, seemingly all He needs do is give Satan a new heart, just as he promises to do to Israel so that they will be obedient to Him. Now, I know that no one has the answer to that question; but, I am just musing in print. Frankly folks, when I read the bible, the idea slaps me across the face that it is Satan, who is at the right hand of power and of God. Otherwise, I just can t wrap my mind around the notion that Satan, given his vastly superior fore-knowledge of God s plans for him, doesn t repent. The lowly and totally naive prodigal son did better.

Satan has not been cast into hell to suffer yet. he did lost the war and Jesus Christ sealed his fate of defeat by stripping him of all his power. But you have to see heaven like a court room. God is the judge, Jesus defends the christian body of believers and Satan accuses them of anything he can find wrong. When the end comes satan will be cast into the lake of fire to suffer for eternity.
Lucifer = Satan before he was cast out of heaven ....Remember in the bible satan is a serpent tempting Eve.

The Holy Bible doesn't tell us how old Satan is, but Satan took dominion of this earth away from Adam 6,000 years ago.

Well Satans not in hell yet but roaming the earth. Why do you think bad things still happen. He is still trying to fight to get into heaven. Read the book "Heaven is for real". Its really good and I think its true. Its about a little boy who died for a few minutes but Jesus took him with him to heaven. I don't think people actully know all this answer but I hope someone knows. Goodluck.

Apparently it'll all be answered when George Lucas makes the final 3 films of the saga, just be thankful there won't be any Jar-Jar Binks...

HELL
50 "Verily, this is that whereof you used to DOUBT!" Ad-Dukhan, Chapter #44, Verse 44-50.
hell to me is a place where anyone who didn't "cut it" goes. atheists that don't see the light before death, extreme repeat sinners, people who don't ask for forgiveness, suicide. pretty much what you have been taught. evil tempts you to commit sin so you maybe be trapped in hell forever.
God says in Quran:-
43 Verily, the tree of Zaqqum
44 Will be the FOOD OF THE SINNERS.
45 Like BOILING OIL, it will boil in the bellies,
46 Like the boiling of SCALDING water.
47 (It will be said) "SEIZE HIM and drag him into the MIDST of blazing Fire,
48 "Then pour over his head the torment of BOILING WATER.
49 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were THE MIGHTY, FULL OF HONOR!
50 "Verily, this is that whereof you used to DOUBT!" Ad-Dukhan, Chapter #44, Verse 44-50.
