WHICH LAPTOP IS THE BEST?
i am looking for a laptop primarily for watching movies online and from DVD.
the lap top should have very good sound
if possible 3.D screen.
large screen.
very long battery life
i would like it to be HP or Dell
yes it should have a good processor as at times i do write computer programs just as a hobbie
my budget is 600-850 US$

You don't want an HP, they are closing down their PC/Laptop division as well as their tablet division

This is a great buy! I got it a few days ago and am very impressed with what I got for the price. I have little bad to say about it. Breaking it down:
Pros:
1) i5 processor & 4 gigs of RAM is very fast. No slowdown for multitasking
2) Dedicated vid card is fantastic. Not top of the line, but damn good and best in price range.
3) Hard drive is plenty for most storage and tasks. Not the fastest, but has rapid access when plugged in
4) Sleek and small design; it's not showy, but it's not clunky or ugly either
5) Better sound than most acers
6) Full and usable keyboard
7) Real 720p resolution

It is not 3D but the Dell vostro series has a lot to offer in the category your looking
