gameday, pccare question?

After months of playing the usual game from a scam company, I told them the calls were being recorded and sent to the lawyer I have on retainer. I wanted to wait to make sure I got my money back before I posted, but I did. after being hung up on numerous of times in 2 months, talking to supervisors who seemed to speak no english, and dealing with the usual bs, I did get my money back. HOWEVER, it took me telling them the calls were recorded, that is was being sent to my lawyer on retainer, and that he was looking into not only the money I lost in this scam but also the time it took me to fix it myself (at 15 hours, and lets throw out 15/hour, is a lot of freakin money!) to fix what their company did not. there was no way I wud let them back on after the worm I got after the first time, so after 2-3 months I got my money back, fixed it myself, and lost nothing but my time. Pretty sure if u emphasize the time u spent fixing it urself they may meet halfway with that. Just have to ***** enough.

Update:

for others that are jumping in not knowing anything, they presented themselves as Norton, told me I would have Norton on top of the money spent, and were listed on my PC at the time (and still are if u search what I did) as NORTON! so yes, I was dumb. But sounded legit in every other aspect. asked specifically while on the "recorded" conversations if they were Norton and said they were, so no stupid comments alright, this was only to gameday.

Update 2:

It was not a call they made, I know better. I called them because of a google search on Norton. They were one of the first that came up, like I said, pretending to be Norton. I did get my money back though after arguing and being hung up on more times than I can count. I just wanted people to know that even though the company is a fraud POS, if u fight hard enough, you can get it back. So if you hear of other duma$$es that call this "Norton" number, let them know. At first I thought it was pointless because of it being what seemed to be an out of country company. They have a New York address so it's still all the same. Just a pain in the butt.

there are a lot of hoax phone calls going on where someone calls you, says they are with microsoft or one of the antivirus vendors and you give them all your personal info. then they steal your identity - hope you didn't do this. no solicitor needs your birthdate, you moms name, your drivers license nor your social.

    hope this helps
