New York City is the ultimate for educational resources. San Francisco is small although there are a few well known universities around its environs. Nothing beats Manhattan for school.

San Francisco is not very cheap but the living standards without money are better on the west coast than east coast because it is newer.

Why did you choose San Francisco instead of Seattle if you want a liberal West Coast city ?

I would rather San Francisco but New York is probably cheaper.

I've been to NYC twice and I've never been to San Francisco so I will choose NYC!

Well, in San Francisco, you have to pay for EVERYTHING. I think it's the same with NYC.

San Francisco! New York is so overrated and is too crowded, and just plain sucks.

Neither is cheap. You'd be hard pressed to find more expensive places to live in this country.

  • They are both equally as expensive concrete cities if you will. I'd choose SF though only because I love that place.
