Fluorescent light diffusers?

Does anyone in Glasgow know where I can get fluorescent light diffusers ? I don't need the whole fitting. I dropped the blasted thing as I was cleaning the diffuser & it broke. B&Q only has the complete unit.

The manufacturer will have a link for accessaries put in the fixture info in the find box when you get to it go to accessaries. If they rquire a license then call nearest "Electrical Supply" and ask for the lighting department. They know the poop on lights, and will be able to help you. Good Luck

P.S. If you still have issues then use my e-mail in my info and send me the information and I'll order it for you through my license couchm@sbcglobal.net. This is my work e-mail and we are in the Napa Valley in California fyi.

USASkypanels offers light diffusers in many different designs. Teachers often use them for Autistic kids since the diffuser provides a more calm environment. The Skypanels spread out the light from the fluorescent lighting giving off a a softer light. I would highly recommend them since you not only get a fluorescent light diffuser but also a beautiful decor for your home.

If you bought the fitting from B&Q, then you may need to buy a complete fitting.

Look at the make and model of the fitting and try on-line at the makers' website, if there is one, or try a wholesaler such as Edmundsons, Ross Electrical, Newey & Eyre or Electric Centre.

B&Q are good for cheap deals, but tend to use "end of line" products which makes getting replacements hard, or even impossible.

If you do purchase a new fitting, make sure you can purchase spares in the foreseeable life of the fitting.

Once you find the light diffusers, you may want to look into also getting some skypanels to cover the ray of artificial light given off by the light diffusers. I included a link where you can get an idea of what I'm talking about.

You will get more light without the diffuser particularly when it cant get filled with dead Scottish midges. Why bother? Only you will notice.
