Can I store lettuce salad in the freezer?

I dont' have space in the refrigerator.

    the lettuce will get freezer burn. this is because lettuce is comprised mostly of water. spinach is ok. so in short, No.

    It's not a good idea. The lettuce will freeze and then wilt when it thaws, and get all mushy like frozen spinach. If you empty it into a clean plastic or Ziploc bag, you might be able to squish it into the fridge.

    YES you can! freeze it after washing it and when needed take it out and cook it with vegetables! who said lettuce has to be in salad or thrown?? you guys never tried hunger!

    You are so cute... Lettuce will wilt once thawed because of the water content,use it up immediately before it go's bad. @ 69 cents a head , it's the cheapest head in town. Lol...

    NO! The lettuce will be all mushy and freezer burnt.

    no, you can not store it in the freeze as lettuce salad will not be able to serve again.

    Well if you'd have me over for dinner once in a while you'd have room in your refrigerator!!!
