I have an Infiniti G20 that I'm told needs a new clutch.?

A new clutch was put in 2 years ago, so I'm puzzled. The 'sweet spot' on the clutch is pretty much all the way at the top, and I have no acceleration at all. The clutch does not appear to be slipping, I just have no pick up. Can anybody tell me if no acceleration is a sign of clutch problems?

If your tachometer indicates that the engine is revving up and you get no acceleration, the clutch is slipping. If the tach goes up in relation to the speed of the car, it is not a slipping clutch.
