Will Anna Torv from Fox's hit tv show "Fringe" Torv host Saturday Night Live this season?

In case you don't know her, she's the star of FOX's hit tv show "Fringe", in which she plays FBI Agent Olivia Dunham. In years past, the very thought of mentioning her name as a potential guest host on Saturday Night Live was an afterthought to me. But, lately,I have been thinking about how cool it would be to see Anna Torv show the audience a funny side of her, because it would give her an opportunity to play a different role besides FBI Agent Olivia Dunham on "Fringe" on Saturday Night Live.

I certainly wouldn't rule Anna Torv out as a potential guest host for Season 37. If and when Anna Torv does host Saturday Night Live, either after Anna Faris or sometime in early 2012, I would love to do a rendition of "Finally!" with CeCe Peniston to christen her debut as guest host of Saturday Night Live, to set the tone for what promises to be a great show.

After all, it's been 15 years since an Australian actress last hosted Saturday night Live, and I'd love to see Anna Torv as a first-time guest host on Saturday Night Live on NBC this season.

I'm sure those of you who watch "Fringe" on Fox will be crossing their fingers and hoping Don Pardo announces Anna Torv's name as a guest host on an upcoming show on Saturday Night Live this season. I know I'll be crossing my fingers as well.
