What to say when I ask him out?

So I work with this guy who's incredibly sweet but also very shy. I've had a crush on him for a bit and I'd like to ask him out. We both work in the box office at a movie theater and I'd like to ask him out by showing up when he's working and holding up a little message against the glass that asks in a sweet way if he would go out with me (not while there's customers of course lol). But I'm not very eloquent and was wondering if I could get some help on what the note should say. I just want something that basically says "I like you. will you go out with me?". And no I don't want it to just say that. It's gotta be something sweet that won't scare him off.

    anyway...

    How about something like...

    "We've done the movies, so how about dinner tonight?"

    or

    "You get off in 10 minutes, wanna go do dinner and a movie? I know a great theater =)

    or

    "Wanna see a movie with me? I'll pay for the movie if you'll pay for dinner =) (it is funny because you don't have to pay).

    or

    "you smell like popcorn, can I lick you all over?" Oh wait, no, no, nevermind that one. =P

    you should ask in a way that won't freak him out or put him in an odd position. Just ask him if he wants to go watch a movie or grab a cup of coffee. Start making it a usual thing then BANG before you know it you two are dating.

    this is from a dude and that's what do with a girl but the concept should be the same ; )

    You could put "Hey. Will You Go Out With Me? <3 (Draw A Heart And The Sign!)" and then when he sees it, smile, look friendly and confident, and wave to him. I don't know, it's something :)

    Say it in a cheesy way.

    "Wanna go grab a coffee?"

    or something. Or,

    make an official date in front of him.
