Take care of it. There are tons of articles out there on how to take care of your hair. Google is a wonderful thing.

First of all go get those split ends trimmed. Wash only as necessary and condition the length and ends of your hair. Use heat sparingly and always use heat protectant when you do use heat. Deep condition about once a week. Get hot oil treatments (you can do these at home too).

Get a trim.If you don't want to cut it then you should do a mayo therapy to it. Regular mayo works too but i use this mayo they sell at Sally Beauty Supply it says leave it in for 15mins under heat. But i leave it in for 30-45mins mins without heat. When its done your hair will be shiney and soft. I love it and do it every 2-3 weeks :)
