If you have forgotten the password to log on to wireless router management page, the best way is to reset it by pressing reset button on router for 10-15s while it's powered on, after that it will be rebooted back to factory default settings. At that point you should be able to use default username and password to log on, check the wireless router manual to know the default username/password if you are not sure.
If you need more helps, check out this wireless router configuration example: http://www.home-network-help.com/wireless-router.h...
Hope this helps.

Giving us your location doesn't help at all. Let me dumb it down to the very basic so you'll be able to follow.
1) Connect your computer directly to the one of the router's 4 ports using an ethernet cable if it isn't yet. Don't plug it in the port labeled WAN, WLAN or Internet as that is where your modem should be connected to if the modem is not built-in to the router.
2) Open a command prompt by pressing the WinLogo+R keys. Type CMD in the Run box and hit Enter. At the command prompt window, type "ipconfig" (w/o the quotes) and hit Enter. Take note of the default gateway. It should be something like 192.168.x.x or whatever.
3) Open your browser. Get the default user and password for your router from one of these links:
http://portforward.com/default_username_password
http://www.phenoelit-us.org/dpl/dpl.html
4) Type http://192.168.x.x/ (whatever default gateway you got from the ipconfig in step (2) in the browser's address box. This will take you to the router's configuration webpage.
5) If the defaults don't work, reset the router by pushing a pin or straightened paperclip inside the small hole behind the router. Hold it until the power goes off and back on. This usually takes about 10-30 secs, depending on the router brand. It will erase all router settings including the wifi password/passphrase and reset it to factory defaults. Go back to step (4) after resetting the router. You should then be able to log in using the default user and password and reconfigure your router.
6) Once you are logged in to your router's user interface, go to the Wireless settings tab. You will see the wifi password/passphrase settings there.

Here's my opinion..
Try to check out who is the manufacturer of your router and do tell me its name. Then we will go to its default gateway address. There you can see its name and password
