how we connect 5.1ch home theater system with sony dvd player?

I have sony dvd player which have 2ch analog output and i want to connect it with 5.1ch home theater system

    Connect red & white cables output from DVD player to Home Theater System input for audio.

    Simply connect it to the input of your TV and your TV audio

    connects to the home theater system. Read and fully understand

    all of the manuals that came with your equipment. This will aid

    you in connecting them as the manufacturer recommends for

    the best performance possible.

    Those home theater in a box are not flexible for adding anything to it. It is designed for you to watch a movie with surround sound only. They do not provide any video or audio inputs at all. Hope this will help you out.
