Why is the background image not appearing on this webpage?

Made the page with iWeb on mac but made a couple adjustments to the code. When I viewed the site at home on my mac the background image appeared but when viewing it at work on a PC there is just a white background. Anyone know what the issue is?

Had no problem in FF or IE viewing background image: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/21885907/Web/Site/Welcome_...

Image is over 1 MB in size and is way too large for web sites. Loading times for some browsers will be excessive and people will just click off your site.

    3,847px × 2,284px (scaled to 1,192px × 708px)

    1,863.87 KB (1,908,605 bytes)

Others on site are also too large.

Looks fine to me. Using Firefox. Design is clean and neatly done. But on second look, the photo that displays for me is 3847 x 2284 pixels. That is WAAAYY too big. I am only seeing a top left portion of it. Your HTML has in the name for this image 640x380 but it is not that size. I think you forgot to resize the photograph.

Hi, nice page by the way

Ive just checked your site and the background looks fine, it works on my computer. its some buildings or something, maybe your house. i dont know

there might be something blocking it on your broswer, dont know what you are using ,safari, chrome or something simular.

if you have a pop-up blocker, or something like AdBlock, disable it and your page will work fine

    url(Welcome_files/OldMontreal_640x380.jpg)

    should be

    url('/Welcome_files/OldMontreal_640x380.jpg')
