Question about aquatic life in the Ocean?

Alright, so I was just wondering about life in the ocean. How much life is in the open ocean? Like lets say I skydive out of a plane and land right smack dab in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight. If I looked under water, would I see 1 fish, 100, or 1000. I don't know how I can put it in simpler terms. Would there be a lot of animal life around me out in the middle of no where?

I believe yes, the ocean is teaming with life. The practical answer is that if you looked under water, you would likely see nothing. the water is dense, you would be surrounded by countles "sea life forms" but not see nor perceive them redily (in volume, en masse)...

You would have a lot of animal life around you , but you would not be able to see nor interact with most of it because of the "medium" in which you were in.

If it was just the open ocean, you would not see as many life forms as you would in a reef, on the coast, or even a tide pool. Fish wouldn't be all around, but you may see one or two. But if you were lucky enough to find a feeding frenzy, then you would see a lot more fish!

You could land in the middle of a 1000 coral fish but they shouldn't bother you but what you would have to watch out for that's not 1000 jellyfish.

No, most life is in the shallower depths, such as coastlines and reefs. The reason is sunlight doesn't go that deep to grow plants, which are at the bottom of the food chain. You may see life out in the middle due to some currents carrying food [like krill for whales], but it is much more abundant and diverse along shore.

Yes there is a lot of animal life in the ocean even in the middle of it. you think how could life exist in the middle of no where. But that's with your own view ,not of the fishes' for them its their world. as we land animals cannot exist in their world similarly they cannot live in ours. its as simple as you like.
