Help with photoshop elements 5?

I have PS elements 5 on my computer. I have not been able to install the hidden tools folder to the program. I found the folder, but can't get access to it. I can't use masks or anything like that. Also, can anyone tell me if pse5 has the liquefy tool? I'd like to use it if it's there, but can't find that either. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Second question first: Filter>Distort>Liquify.

The Hidden Tools, once installed, should appear with the other actions in the Photo Effects palette. I don't know how close 5 is to 6 but, in 6, you open the Effects paletter or, if you don't see it, click on Window up in the Main Menu at the top, scroll down the dropdown list and click on Effects.

At the left, top of the Effects Palette are 4 icons. Reading from the left, they are: Filters, Layer Styles, Photo Effects, All. Click the Photo Effects icon. At the top right of the palette is another dropdown, click it to see all the actions installed on your copy of Elements.

Instead of Hidden Tools, try Elements Plus Demo. It's free, not time limited, everything's fully function, there are no watermarks, etc. It self installs, so install it all you have to do is double click on it.

At this link, in the 4th paragraph, click on "demo version". In the list that appears on the new page, find your version of Elements and your operating system.

Source(s): I have both Hidden Tools and Elements Plus installed on Elements 6 and they both work fine but there's really no difference between them.
