Hi fellow writers, wondering if you could help me with my story please?

I'm writing a story (won't reveal details) and I need types of heroes for different schools. I've already got Magi and Warrior, but I don't know what else.

Anything else you could add for the schools, like names, crests or anything like that could give you a better chance of Best Answer. The answer that gives me the most tips, detail and suggestions will probably get Best Answer, and I will be in your debt. If this manages to get published (although I doubt this lol) I will mention your name for helping me, and I will help you in whatever you need help in. Please! I'm not telling you to write the story, just simply asking for help with a few matters.

Also, before I go, I may ask for your opinion on my main character. They are a Magi and I don't know whether to do a young teenage girl (Blair Rightwood), a young teenage boy (Zak Mellows), an 9/8 yr old girl (Martha-Jane Stewart) or a 12 yr old boy (Max Trucell). Help please!

Thankyou for your time and contributions and have a nice day :)

For a start, I think you should write about the 98 year old, or is it 9 / 8 year old?, Martha-Jane. And 12 year old Max Trucell. Nice names, by the way. It'll be a *massive* change if it were to have a 98 year old protagonist. I would definitely read it, to see how it goes. But it's your choice! :)

Okay, time fore types of heroes:

You already have Magi and Warrior.

    So...

    Barbarian

    Demon hunter

    Warlock

    Witch

    Beserker

    Angel

I'm sorry if they are not what you wanted :(

The name could be... something like...

    The Academy of Heroes XD

Or St (name a saint) College. Eg. St Edlum College, Academy, whichever

The School for Gifted Students :/

An acronym! Like SIN, e.g. Silverwing Institution of the Nefarious :), or something! XD

    The Department of Magic

A crest will depend on the school. If it had some rich and noble history, maybe there might be lion. If it's not too good, then a snake coiled around a sword. Look at school crests and see what they are like. For example, in Harry Potter, the crest is made up of the animals of the houses. You could do something like that.

I have absolutely no clue of what the story is about, so I cannot give anymore from here.

This school could train the heroes to become great ones. I have no idea, but I hope I helped.

I hope to see it published!

My biggest recommendation is that you avoid the cliches. Yes, we have warriors and magi - but those are rather required in any story of this category. I suggest renaming them though. It adds more originality to the story. Plus, if you add a team of people of different classes, most people would relate it to a video game of some sort lol.

So, rename your characters and bring some new things to the table. I don't know much of the details of the story, so I don't know if my recommendations would be of much use, but I'll share them anyway.

First off, the characters don't need to be pure. You can add several things from lore that may have nothing to do with what you're trying to write. Like a necromancer, psychic, druid, etc. Don't be afraid to do a ****-ton of research when making characters. It may take days to come up with one. But there's no reason to half-*** a story. It's not like you have a deadline.

As for the title, I can't help you. The title really needs to be special and crafted by the author. It's the very first thing anybody reads in the book. I just suggest having an acronym or something.

Hope I helped, and thanks for your answer.

I think there is a lot of money to be made by many of the health scares. For example, when fat-free was all the rage, so many food products were marketed as fat-free. They put a big FREE on their package, and I believe some people subconsciously see the word FREE and it influences their choices. Nutritionists know that a completely fat-free diet is unhealthy, it takes fat to utilize the soluble vitamins, for the skin to be moistened and is necessary for brain health and metabolism. I do think that the meat warnings have a valid point, especially the meat animals that are treated with growth hormones and steroids and butchered meat may be now sprayed with ammonia to kill e-coli bacteria and also dyes are used in some stores. I was having asthma and dizziness within 20 minutes of eating beef, even a tiny bit, and I researched it. When I don't eat it I don't have a problem, and if I eat organic buffalo I don't have a problem either. All these additives are unhealthy, grass-fed organic beef would be very healthy in comparison. I do think our livers are being burdened with chemicals and they may be causing health problems. If food was raised and processed right then the general population would probably be much healthier.
