why do some post op mtf act this way?

Clones I think I love you xD I am not sure as to why a Post-Op Transsexual would brag.. I mean, I would think they should be happy and want to help others achieve what she has =/ Bragging and labeling herself superior is just insanely stupid.. I'm happy atleast that the Post-op Woman I know are very kind, supporting and extremely helpful in giving information/making me feel comfortable ^_^ Honestly without them I don't know where I would be..

There are lots of Have vs. Have Not conflict within our community. Rich vs. Poor, Young vs. Old, Passable vs. Unpassable, Transsexual vs. Transgendered, Post-op vs. Pre-op.

In this circumstance, I have become convinced that many post-op women do not want to identify with anyone less than post-op because they find pre-ops and non-ops as "less than". They are so eager to separate themselves from the rest of us that they are willing to hurt the people they should be calling their brothers and sisters.

Like another poster said, they are insecure in themselves, and as such they attempt to tear others down, it's sad..

On a personal level, I don’t particular care for those who attempt to claim the title of transsexual for their own perceived personal gains, then choose to sexually maintain themselves as a male, while claiming non-op status by choice. to me those people are not women, nor are they transsexuals.. continually there are people who I like to refer to as professional transsexuals, these people may or may not be post-op, but often attempt to exclaim a superiority by there surgical stats.

Unfortunately there’s any number of people as such, who all, for lack of terms seem to miss the point of what it means to be a woman. It’s not about your surgical status or even ability to give birth, or what’s between ones legs.. it’s simply about who you are, not what you are..

the idea of transition is to bring who and what you are together as one rather than separate existences.

Surgery is not the end, it’s the beginning..

it’s funny, and sad, while not trying to sound judgmental or superior, if you listen and watch, you can easily tell who is afflicted with transsexuality by the persons actions, and lack of claims as compared to the ones full of bravado. simple take what they say with a grain of salt and move on.. transitioning is for yourself

They have insecurity issues with themselves and have allowed society to delude them into thinking a vagina, arbitrary physical attributes, makes you a woman. They're no different than the cissexual women who act superior because they own a vagina. Such behavior is pathetic and sad.

I learned fairly early on in my transition to ignore 99% of what is written on these websites. There is no "real" or "fake" or "right" or "wrong." There is only what is right for YOU, and what you need to do to be happy. People who need to disparage others to feel happy are very troubled inside, and I pity them, no matter how "passable" or "post-op" they may be.

Don't know. But thats an offensive and unsensitive view to have.

Because people become intolerant when they feel threatened
